Business Analytics Course to be offered by IIT Hyderabad

In the competitive business market most of the organizations are just too keen to harness the potential of efficient business analytics and big data analysis to gain an edge. This has led to a rise in demand for data scientists and business analytics professionals. Keeping this demand in mind the computer science and engineering department of Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad would be conducting its certificate course on business analytics using open source R, a statistical software in April 2016.

The course would be a six day course and will equip the participants with the essential skills required to address challenges of data intensive decision making environments. A candidate with an undergraduate degree in mathematics or statistics or working professionals can register for the course that would be offered over the weekends. Experience in any programming language would be an added advantage.

The fee for the course is Rs. 30,000 and the enrolments are based on first come first serve basis. The dates on which the classes would be held are April 9 (Saturday), April 10 (Sunday), April 24 (Sunday), April 30 (Saturday) and May 1 (Sunday), 2016 at the IIT Hyderabad campus.
