In order to promote alternative investment education in India, a MoU has been signed between the Indian School of Business (ISB) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association. Currently, the CAIA is the global leader in alternative investment education.
The partnership will work in such a manner that the students at ISB will be benefited from the same as now they will have access to the CAIA Association curriculum and events and also will be allowed to apply for scholarships to earn the CAIA character. The program will be conducted in the NSE-ISB Trading Lab at ISB.

Director of exams at CAIA, Nelson Lacey and Rajendra Srivastava, Dean and Novartis Professor of Marketing Strategy and Innovation, ISB were part of the signing of partnership between the two prestigious institutions. The signing was held in Singapore. Jo Murphy, Managing Director – Asia Pacific, CAIA was also present during the event.
According to Professor Nelson Lacey, this will be the first time that CAIA will be coming into partnership with any institution in India. They look forward to the same and are very happy being partners with one of India’s leading business school i.e the ISB.
He says that he knows that ISB holds a prominent position in the financial service sector in India and they are very happy to provide scholarship opportunities to students from ISB to enhance their knowledge on alternative investment.

According to Jo Murphy, India has ample space for the concept of alternative investments to grow as not many people are familiar with the same. Also, since India is one of the fastest growing economies, they are looking forward to expanding themselves in India as the alternative investment community is filled with potential. Also, they are very happy regarding the partnership with ISB and are looking forward to make Indian alternative investment sector very strong along with the ISB.
On asking about the same from Professor Rajendra Srivastava, Dean, ISB, he said that they are very happy to be the first Indian Management school to be partners with CAIA which is the global leader in alternative investment education. Also with the help of this partnership, they will now be able to provide quality education regarding investments in the NSE-ISB Trading lab at ISB.
