Candidates will be required to login through their dashboard to access the hall ticket. Candidates must bring the admit card to the examination hall to be allowed to sit for the test.
Calcutta University BA LLB question paper will have multiple-choice questions, and the examination will be held in offline mode. The examination will be of 2.5 hours. Questions will appear from General Awareness/Current Affairs, General Math, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Candidates can check out the exam-day instructions for CU BA LLB 2024 in the following table:

| Instruction 1 | Candidates must appear at the exam venue on the exam date and time stated. |
| Instruction 2 | Candidates must bring a blue/black point pen to mark the answers in the OMR sheet. |
| Instruction 3 | Candidates must not mark the answers in pencil. Candidates must bring their admit card, photo, and photo ID proof on the examination day for pre-exam formalities. |
| Instruction 4 | Candidates must report to the examination venue 30 minutes before the exam time. |
| Instruction 5 | After the exam starts, candidates will not be allowed to enter after 15 minutes of the commencement time. |
| Instruction 6 | Candidates should not carry slide rules, calculators, mobile phones, pagers, or any other electronic devices to the examination hall. |
| Instruction 7 | While answering the paper, candidates must read the instructions on the question booklet and OMR answer sheet. |
| Instruction 8 | Candidates must start and stop answering only when they are told to do so as failing to do so can result in disqualification. |
| Instruction 9 | Avoid folding the answer key. After the examination is over, give your answer sheet to the room supervisor. |
| Instruction 10 | Candidates must mark the answers as guided in the answer booklet. |
| Instruction 11 | Candidates must not leave the exam hall before completing the examination. |
| Instruction 12 | Candidates with low vision will be allowed 20 minutes extra time to complete the paper. |
| Instruction 13 | Candidates with low vision will have to take the help of a scribe, and that won’t be provided by the university. |
| Instruction 14 | Candidates need to get an admit card for the scribe as well. |
