This year, a big jump can be seen in the placement offers of IIM-Kozhikode.
The institute completed its final placements with the top domestic offer at Rs 37 lakh, this offer is said to be 25% more than the highest package last year. Last year, the highest package of the University was Rs 29.5 lakh. Apart from the highest package, there is a difference in the average salary package as well. This year, the average salary package rose more than 12 per cent i.e to Rs 17.1 lakh.
As many as 119 companies visited the campus and made 370 offers. About 40 first-time recruiters together made around 100 offers.

Finance firms made offers to 21 per cent of the batch, while sales and marketing domain absorbed 27 per cent. There was a significant increase in offers from the consulting segment, said AF Mathew, chairperson of placements at IIM-K. Companies such as Accenture Management Consulting, Avalon Consulting, Boston Consulting Group, CBC, Deloitte, EY, Frost & Sullivan, KPMG, McKinsey and PricewaterhouseCoopers made 99 offers, or to 28 per cent of the batch.
In the financial space, first-time recruiters made 13 offers between them. These companies were:

Regular recruiters such as Cognizant Business Consulting, IBM, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro continued to recruit from the campus.
