The notification for CAT 2017 has been released by IIM Lucknow . While preparing for the exam, MBA aspirants must be wondering which b-school offers best ROI . According to experts, the rise in fees at IIMs has upset the ROI of these premier business schools. This and the fact that the placements at IIMs have not been so great last year has pushed many candidates preparing for CAT 2017 to consider alternative options.

These candidates are evaluating the chances of getting lucrative jobs at b-schools other than IIMs. Many students preparing for the upcoming CAT exams said that the fees of IIMs and the ROI of institutes don’t add up.

A business education from IIMs will cost up to 20 lakhs after clearing the CAT entrance exams. Few other b-schools also have sky high fees with not so great ROIs.

This is one of the reasons why some of the MBA aspirants are considering GMAT to get admission in universities abroad. MBA from abroad universities has more credibility than the business programmes of IIMs. Another reason why people are considering business education abroad is because of the excellent exposure and placement opportunities.
