CAT 2021 Tomorrow

IIMA is all set to conduct the CAT exam 2021 tomorrow on November 28. The exam is going to be conducted in 3 shifts, each of 2 hours, across 400 exam centres across the country. Around 2.31 lakh candidates have registered for the exam and if you are reading this, you are probably one of them.

Checklist for CAT 2021 Exam Day

  1. Candidates must download the CAT admit card (on an A4 paper) and attach the same picture which they had uploaded during the application process.
  2. The candidates must prepare a plan for travel and food, along with other things, as required.
  3. Candidates must report to the test centre before the allotted time.
  4. The CAT admit card's barcode will be scanned at the Scanning Desk. The location of the exam lab will be provided once the scanning is complete and successful.
  5. At the exam Console, it's all mouse-work to pick the right option as an answer for the MCQs. For a non-MCQ question, the on-screen keyboard is used to answer the question.
  6. It is important to remember that an external keyboard can't be used and this can result in your test getting locked.
  7. Candidates must not forget to drop the appropriately signed admit card in the box provided prior to exiting the exam lab, in the presence of the exam invigilator.

Last Minute Preparation Hacks for CAT 2021

While it is best to relax and keep your mind at ease on the last day before CAT 2021 , you can follow these quick preparation hacks for a quick boost.

  1. Revise all the basics such as quantitative formulas & the rules of grammar. Each of the 3 sections possesses approximately equal weightage in scores, but you should be working on your strengths.
  2. Assemble a decent "on-the-go" study material for the last-minute preparation.
  3. If you've signed up for specialised coaching, talk to your instructors about any specific issues you'd like to work on. You can also practice with your peers and assist one another with difficult questions.
  4. Have an exam-day strategy in place that suits you. Decide on the topics to attempt first, the segments to allocate extra time for, etc. A sublime mix of speed & accuracy is the key.
  5. Attempting to master brand-new ideas very close to the exam is not a good idea. This is a case of information overload, which may result in further stress.
