Prakhar Sinha has scored 99.91 percentile in CAT 2021 and wants to join IIM Ahmedabad. He says that dedication and practice are the keys to achieving success. He adds, CAT is not a cakewalk, but it is not either unattainable, and academic background does not decide the CAT scores.
CAT 2021 Results have been released. With a 99.91 percentile, Prakhar Sinha is one of the CAT 2021 toppers . Prakhar said that this was his second attempt. He further adds that the key to his success is dedicated practice and perseverance. He strongly believes that every individual has equal potential, and with continuous efforts, they can achieve what they seek.
During his interview, he reflects on some beneficial points for aspiring MBA candidates that may be quite helpful. Since it was his second attempt, he had finished his CAT 2021 Syllabus within the first 2 months. Also suggests all other candidates finish the syllabus as soon as possible. Then he invested a minimum of 2-3 hours of studying each day. And practiced CAT 2021 Mock Test Series every weekend. Similarly, he asks everyone to do the same, practice multiple mock test papers.

On being asked about his academic background and whether it is important for CAT 2021 , he states that it is not much important. It all depends upon the preparation of the candidate. Additionally, he states that CAT is not very difficult nor is it a cakewalk. It requires dedication and hard work.
About the CAT 2021 question paper, he states, that he was pretty confident about the VARC section. However, for DILR and QA sections, he had to practice a lot. He also referred to multiple YouTube videos and read as much as possible. He focused on reading books, materials, and newspapers daily.
For the exam day, he says, he revised his Quant formulae and took an early nap to wake up fresh for the exam. Before the exam, he made sure to carry all his documents, Admit Card, and ID. As for his GD-PI rounds, he says he needs to brush up on the current affairs, read through any trending or buzzing terms or information, and prepare for all standard PI questions.

Prakhar Sinha wants to take admission at IIM Ahmedabad and later, become a consultant in the leading companies of the Consultancy World, such as Bain, BCG, etc. The topper also says, analyzing errors and not repeating them is the most crucial part.
