CAT 2022 Exam Date: To take admissions for MBA/MCA/PGDM courses in the top colleges/universities/institutes of the country, candidates must have qualified for the CAT 2022 exams. CAT or Common Entrance Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted for management courses. It is the first step towards securing a seat in the prestigious colleges of India. And now, the CAT 2022 Exam Date has also been announced. The CAT 2022 Exam will be conducted on November 27, 2022 (Tentative). Candidates must start with their preparations well in advance to complete the syllabus in time.

Who is Eligible to Apply for CAT 2022?
Candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% will be eligible to apply. Candidates from ST/SC/PwD category will have relaxation. Also, candidates applying for CAT 2022 may be the final year candidates or candidates awaiting graduation results. Candidates with equivalent education as graduation will also be eligible to apply.
CAT 2022 Admission Process
Several stages are involved for admissions. Candidates will have to undergo all the stages to successfully complete the application forms and secure a seat for a desired course.
- Step 1: Fill out the CAT 2022 Application Form
Candidates will have to provide personal information, academic details, and communication details to fill out the application form. Candidates must upload all the necessary documents, and pay the requisite application fee to successfully complete the application form.
- Step 2: Download CAT 2022 Admit Card
Only after completing the application form, candidates may download the admit card online from the official website.
- Step 3: Appear for CAT 2022 Exam
Appear for the CAT 2022 exams and qualify the exams to proceed for the further admission process. Based on the performance, colleges will release the cutoffs.
- Step 4: Apply for Admissions
Candidates who meet the cutoffs and eligibility criteria for the particular colleges may apply online for the particular college and course by visiting the website of the college.
- Step 5: Appear for GD/PI Rounds
Shortlisted candidates will then be called in for Group Discussion and Personal Interview Rounds. The final selection will be done on the basis of the candidates performance on CAT 2022, GD, PI, and Previous Academic Records.
- Step 6: Seat booking and Payment of Admission Fees
If the candidates are selected, they may pay the application fees and book their seats. Candidates will have a few days to pay the admission fees. Soon after candidates will have to report to their respective colleges to start their classes.
