The wait for the CAT 2022 is now over. Today on November 27, 2022, CAT 2022 exam will be conducted in various cities across the country. The exam will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Due to the large number of test takers, the exam will be conducted in three slots. The details of which slot the candidate is allotted are mentioned on the CAT 2022 Admit Card and is expected of them to reach the exam venue on time and with the requisite documents.

Also, candidates appearing for the exams should be aware of the exam pattern. As per the information released by IIM Bangalore, the CAT 2022 question paper will have three sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning. The number of questions from each section will differ, however, the marking scheme will remain the same across all the sections. Each correct answer will add 3 marks to the total score, and each wrong answer for the MCQs will deduct 1 mark and for non-MCQs, there will be no negative marking.

CAT 2022 Exam Day: Important Instructions
Here are some important points to be noted on the CAT 2022 exam day:- Candidates should reach the exam venue on time, and latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall at any cost.
- All the required documents are expected to be ready in hand with the candidate while entering the exam hall for the verification process and to mark the attendance.
- Candidates should cooperate with the staff during the verification process and respect and listen to the instructions given at the exam hall.
- Make sure not to carry any of the prohibited items even unknowingly to avoid disqualification for the CAT 2022 exams.
- Even if candidates complete their examination, they must be seated at the allotted seats until the exam time is over.
- After the exam concludes, candidates shall leave the examination hall as per the instructions by the examination staff at the examination hall.
