Good Attempts in CAT 2023: The weightage distribution across the three sections in CAT 2023 is slightly unequal and varies with each year. In this year’s examination, a total of 66 questions were asked for 198 marks. The slot-wise distribution of questions varied, details of which are further elaborated here.

Along with it, the section-wise and slot-wise expected number of good attempts are also stated. Good attempts can be defined as the number of questions a candidate must attempt correctly to cross the cutoff marks for the general category and thus to become eligible for admission to top B-schools across the country.
