The results of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 were out on January 08, 2018. Students from various parts of the country excelled in the premier management entrance exam by scoring highest percentile. A total number of 12 students from Tricity (Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula) scored 99 percentile in CAT 2017 and made an outstanding mark.

Out of 12 students, only one girl made it to the 99-percentile club from Tricity. Sophia Dhawan who scored 99.52 percentile in CAT 2017 is a final year student of CCET. Her father is a banker, while her mother is a homemaker. She took coaching for CAT 2017 and her dedication led her to score top percentile in CAT 2017. She is aspiring for a bright career in management field like her father.
Top CAT 2017 scorer from Tricity, Aniket Upadhyay is also from CCET. His aim is to pursue a course in Finance. Aniket has received a call from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta . Currently, he is busy in preparing for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. He used to study 10 to 12 hours a day to score top percentile in CAT 2017.
Over 8,500 students from Tricity appeared for CAT 2017 exam.
