CAT Toppers 2017: Students from IIT Madras and IIT Delhi secure 100 Percentile

CAT Toppers 2017: Students from IIT Madras and IIT Delhi secure 100 Percentile

CAT 2017 exam result has been announced and MBA aspirants are waiting to receive calls from reputed business schools. The result of the exam was announced on January 8, 2018 . The Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) rounds will be conducted for students who have scored the required CAT percentile.

The result of CAT 2017 has also brought the news of success for various students who scored excellent percentile. This year, 20 students have scored a perfect score and have secured 100 percentile in the CAT exam. The CAT scorecard can be downloaded now from the official website of the exam.

One of the students who scored a perfect 100 percentile was Andhra Pradesh’s Sai Praneeth Reddy from IIT Madras . Praneeth’s dedication for his preparation and mock practices paid off and he is one of the toppers of CAT 2017. He is extremely excited to achieve 100 percentile, however, he has not decided whether he will be going for IIMs or not as he has a job offer at hand.

So far, it has been revealed that two of the girls amongst the top 20 scorers are girls. One of the girls who scored a perfect 100 percentile in CAT 2017 is Chhavi Gupta from IIT Delhi . Chavi is hoping to secure a place at IIM Ahmedabad but has not yet decided what specialisation she wants to pick in the second year of the programme.

Candidates willing to take admission in IIMs will not have to apply separately if they have cleared the qualifying cut-off. The institutes will invite them on the basis of their profile to appear for the PI and Written Ability Test (WAT).

For MBA colleges other than IIMs, candidates will have to apply separately for the programmes they offer. These colleges will also invite students for personal assessment rounds and release a list of shortlisted candidates after all the candidates have been evaluated.
