CBSE 10th Social Science Term 2 Exam on May 14: Download Sample Paper, Marking Scheme

CBSE 10th social science exam will be conducted on 14th May from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The exam will be organized by the Central Board of Higher Education throughout the country. Before appearing for the social studies exam, all students must solve the sample papers in order to assess their preparation. This page contains the sample paper as well as the marking scheme of the CBSE class 10 SST exam.

CBSE 10th Social Science Term 2 Marking Scheme 2022

The SST term 2 exam duration is 2 hours and the maximum mark is 40. The question paper will consist of five sections namely section A, B, C, D, and E. Moreover, all the questions are compulsory to attend. Given below are the marking scheme for each section-

Section A: In this section, very short answer type questions will be asked and there will be five questions in total. Each question will be of 2 marks and the answer to each question must not exceed 40 words.

Section B: This section will contain 3 questions with 3 marks each i.e., 9 marks in total. Short answer-type questions will be asked and the answer should not exceed 80 marks.

Section C: Two long answer-type questions will be asked in this section that will carry five marks each. The maximum word limit is 120.

Section D: This section will consist of two case study questions. The questions will carry 4 marks each i.e., 8 marks in total.

Section E: This section will consist of questions based on the map. It will have 2 parts- 13.1 and 13.2 with 1 and 2 marks respectively. So the total mark is 3.
