The Central Board of Secondary Education releases Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) pertaining to class 10 and 12 board exams. The FAQS revolves around some of the important queries of the students such as conducting board examinations, promotion of students to the next class, and other related queries.
One of the queries was around the decision of the board not to conduct any more class 10 and 12 board exams for CBSE schools outside India. According to Clause 5 of the CBSE press release, the board took decided not to hold any more exams for class 10 and 12 students abroad. However, this will directly affect students abroad as there are 250 CBSE schools outside India and what will happen to the results of class 12th students.
To this, the board has answered that the school in the Middle East countries is shut till 3rd August 2020 and incase the exams are conducted after the respective date, the future of the college admissions will be at stake. Similarly, schools in Iran, Japan, Nigeria, etc are also closed till August. CBSE also informed that conducting an exam is not a one-day task and it requires time to deliver paper, evaluation, and to process results.
CBSE will now prepare the results of all the students in CBSE schools located outside the country for all the subjects that the students had registered on the basis of certain objective criteria.CBSE will also issue passing documents as per practice for future use of the students.
