The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to kick start and conduct the annual board exams 2018 from March 5, 2018. Students of class 10th and class 12th will be appearing for the exams that will be wrapped up in the month of April. In total, more than 28 lakh candidates will be appearing for the board exams 2018. If we go by the official data released by CBSE, as many as 16,38,428 students of class 10th and 11,86,306 students of class 12th have registered for the CBSE 2018 exams. 4,510 and 2,846 differently-abled candidates have also registered for class X & XII examinations respectively.

CBSE 10th exams will be conducted in 4,531 centres out of which 78 test centres are located outside India. Simultaneously, class 12th exams have been scheduled in 4,209 centres out of which 71 are outside India.
CBSE has also made special and appropriate arrangements for a smooth conduct of the exams in coordination with the state authorities as well as the local police. CBSE has also invited feedback on class 10 & 12 board exam question papers once the exam is over.

Diabetic candidates will be allowed to carry along with them some eatables inside the exam centres for which they will need to produce specific medical documents or prescription. The candidates with special needs will be given an option to write the exams with the help of a laptop after careful screening and inspection.
