The revised dates for Class 10 & 12 examinations of Central Board of Secondary Education have been released. The dates of some of the examinations have been rescheduled due to the upcoming elections in five states. Also, the exam dates of Uttar Pradesh board, ICSE, ISC exams were also altered due to elections.

The change in the dates of examinations is also forcing various UG colleges and varsities to reschedule their admission dates. Earlier, some of the students claimed that they did not have enough time to prepare for UG entrance examinations. However, CBSE has taken all the essential steps to maintain sufficient time gap between exams so that students can prepare for JEE (Mains) and NEET effectively.

CBSE also announced that the admit card or roll number for Class 12 examinations are expected to be out by the end of this week. The examinations for both Class 10 & 12 students will commence on March 9, 2017. The exams for Class 10 students will conclude on April 10, 2017, and the exams for Class 12 students will conclude on April 29, 2017.
