The Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE, has officially put an end to the speculations that the term-wise assessment system would be kept in the next academic year. "Considering the views of stakeholders and other current situations, the Board will perform the yearly scheme of evaluation at the end of the Academic Session 2022-23, and the curriculum has been created accordingly," the board wrote in a circular. Check the circular posted on the board's website, cbse.nic.in, for more information provided by the board. In addition, the board has released the new curriculum for grades 9 to 12.
Important Note: The CBSE syllabus has been revised to remove topics such as 'democracy and diversity,' Mughal courts, and Faiz poems. At the same time, Punjabi Language has been removed from the curriculum for grades 9 through 12. The board is yet to announce the Punjabi language curriculum for the next session 2022-23, however all other regional language syllabuses are available on the board's official website.
