CBSE Class 10th & 12th Board Exams 2022 are scheduled to begin from April 26, 2022. The practical exams for classes 10 & 12 will start from March 2 and will be conducted until 10 days prior to the theory exam. It is mandatory for all the students to appear for the practical exams which will be held at their respective schools. CBSE Class 10th & 12th Practical Exam Guidelines
Listed below are the official guidelines which must be followed for CBSE Class 10th and 12th practical exams:
- As per the COVID protocols, the students will be divided into 10 subgroups each. While one group will be attending the practical exams, the other group will be writing the exam and so on.
- The practical exams & internal assessment will be conducted by the schools themselves. The candidates will have to visit their respective schools for the exam.
- For class 12, external examiners will be appointed by the CBSE board for practical exams. The schools are not allowed to appoint external examiners. There will be no external examiners for class 10th.
- There will be no separate exams for private students. The practical marks will be calculated on the basis of pro-rata as per the marks secured in theory exams by boards.
- The board will also appoint one observer and internal examiner for the practical exams.
- If the number of candidates is more than 20, then the practical exams will be conducted in two sessions. For Fine Arts, the exam will be invariably conducted in two sessions for each candidate.
- The answer book supplied by the schools will be used by the students to write the practical exams.
