CBSE has released the class 10 assessment policy as the board exams are cancelled. The assessment policy has all the details of how CBSE class 10 result 2021 will be calculated. Apart from this, the CBSE policy document also lists out important instructions to schools for class 11 admissions.
Now that the class 10 examinations are cancelled, the assessment will be strictly based on internal exams and tests conducted by the school. The decision to pick class 11 subjects will now rest with the school.

Some of the important points pertaining to CBSE class 11th admission 2021 guidelines are as follows:
No Streaming: Keeping up with the CBSE and also the New Education Policy, CBSE has directed schools to avoid streaming (Arts/ Commerce/ Science/ Medical etc.) in class 11. Students are free to choose any combination of the subject they may so desire. In other words, a student may choose Mathematics, Political Science, Geography, and Biology, English or any combination thereof. |

Students who chose Basic Mathematics in class 10 are allowed to continue with the Mathematics in class 11th. |
Students who fail to qualify for Class 10 Board Examination 2021 based on the result thus declared are permitted to continue with their Class 11 pending a compartment examination. The compartment examination will be conducted by the school itself According to the policy document, the compartment exam will be an objective paper based on sample papers shared by CBSE. Schools can conduct the board exam in online/ offline mode as per their choice. |
