The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducted the Physical Education exam for Class 12 students on February 24, 2020, from 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM. Over 6,700 students appeared for the exam and the question paper was quite easy to attempt. As per the students, the Physical Education paper was easy to attempt and all of the questions were from the syllabus only. While some of the students found the difficulty level too easy, some of the students rated it as average level.
As per the reviews, all of the questions in the paper were from the prescribed syllabus of CBSE class 12 Physical Education Syllabus.
Some of the papers in the question were also repeated from the previous year's question paper with slight modifications.
As per the expert analysis of the paper, the students are expected to score average marks for CBSE class 12 Physical Education exam i.e. 55 to 65 marks out of 70 marks

Students seemed pretty happy with the physical education paper as the questions were direct and were from within the syllabus. They were able to finish the paper on time. The subject experts shared the same views and said that the paper was student-friendly and even an average student will be able to card well in the paper.

On the other hand, HRD has planned to start a new streamlined Health and Physical Education Programme especially for students in grade 9 and 10 to promote the same in schools. The new programme will be introduced from the next academic session and it will be compulsory for all the schools affiliated to the CBSE board. They have also asked the board to keep one period reserved for Health and Physical Education while making the timetable for 2018-19.
