CBSE has announced the class 12 evaluation criteria for the 2021 academic year. CBSE class 12 results will be based on the 30:30:40 formula.30% weightage will be given to class 10 and 11 final results and the remaining 40% to the remaining class 12 board exams. CBSE class 12 result will most likely be released by 30th July 2021.

According to the formula, the theory marks of each subject will be computed using 40% from the marks they got in the subject pre-boards or mid-term exams held by their schools earlier this year, 30% from their Class 11th final exam marks, and 30% from their Class 10th board exam results. This will be added to the actual marks that they got in their Class 12th internal assessments and practicals for that subject.

According to the reports, schools have been asked to curate the details on the marks obtained by the students in classes 9th, 10th, and 11th. The CBSE class 12 evaluation criteria 2021 will include the performance of a student in the past three years. CBSE has been asked to come up with well-defined objective criteria to declare the result in a time-bound manner.

The evaluation criteria for CBSE class 12 result 2021 is an important aspect as these scores play a significant role not only in merit-based admissions but also in entrance exams. Therefore, the board will have to keep these while formulating the objective criteria.

How will the 30-30-40 Percentages for Theory Exams be Computed?

Now that the CBSE class 12 board exams 2021 have been cancelled. NEET aspirants are eagerly waiting for the government to give clarity on the same as there has been no information on the NEET 2021 application form and official notification. Similarly, no information has been released on JEE Main April-May 2021. The last JEE Main was held in February-March 2021. NTA is yet to issue a notification on the same.
