The announcement of CBSE Class 12 results was a great sign of relief to students. However, some students felt that their result was not satisfactory. On May 29, 2017, some parents and students staged a protest outside the CBSE’s regional office. Parents alleged that there were discrepancies in CBSE Class 12 results. Students and parents carried out a protest by raising slogans and holding placards.

Now, CBSE has released an official notification for ‘Verification and Obtaining Photocopy of Evaluated Answer Books’. The candidates who feel that their result was not satisfactory can apply for the same within the stipulated date and time.

Guidelines to Apply for Verification: -
- Firstly, all the students who wish to apply for verification and photocopy of answer books must note that there is no offline application process.
- CBSE accepts only online applications for the same, and the students must apply through the official portal of CBSE.
- Along with the submission of online application, the candidates must also pay a fee of Rs. 500.
- The candidates can pay the fee for verification by using Debit or Credit Card.
- You can also obtain challan from the official website after submitting the application.
- If you are paying the fee through challan, you need to visit the respective bank.
- If you want to obtain a photocopy of answer book, you need to pay a fee of Rs. 700 per subject.
- All the candidates must note that there is no re-evaluation of evaluated answer scripts.
