The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally given clarity on the CTET examination. The national-level teacher eligibility test last took place in 2016 and since then CBSE did not conduct it. As per the official announcement by CBSE, CTET 2018 will take place on September 16, 2018, in over 92 cities across the country.
CBSE has issued an official CTET 2018 notification on June 12, 2018. The official notification will have all the details pertaining to CTET such as eligibility criteria, exam syllabus, exam cities and important dates.

The online application process for CTET 2018 will begin on June 22, 2018, and will continue until July 19, 2018.
The candidates who clear CTET exam will be eligible for Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) conducted by various state governments. Similarly, it is an eligibility exam for getting teacher jobs in central government schools and Kendriya Vidyalayas .
It is time for the aspirants to start their preparation for CTET 2018 exam. Many aspirants have been eagerly waiting for the CTET notification over the last two years.

CBSE has also given clarity regarding CTET 2018 syllabus in the official notification. Candidates can also check the list of exam centres in the official notification. Since the syllabus of CTET is out now, the aspirants can start their preparation for the CTET Exam 2018.
