The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced the results of expression series programme on Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad held on November 3.
The students can check the result on their official website. According to the circular the cash awards will be transferred online within four days.
Around 36 entries from each category have been selected and will be awarded a prize of Rs 2,500 and each student will also get merit and participation certificate. There were three categories in the competition: Class 1 to 5 and the topic for them was 'The role of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad in the making of modern India; for Class 6 to 8 students, the topic was 'Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's contribution to Indian freedom struggle', and for students of Class 9 to 12, the topic was 'Maulana Abul Kalam Azad: a passionate educationist'. The students submitted essays, poems, or drawings and many more creative stuffs.
The board had also decided to remember the contribution of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad for his contributions as a great freedom fighter, eminent educationist and the first Union Minister of Education. Earlier, the CBSE had announced expression series on Sardar Patel, Jai Prakash Narayan and former President A.P.J Abdul Kalam on their birth anniversaries.
Central Board of Secondary Education regularly organises the expression series on great leader of India for the holistic development of students and to make them aware about the selfless and valiant services of the women and men who have served the nation.
