Results for the two phases of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . Earlier, the result was going to be announced on Wednesday, it has now been released a day before the expected day.
In order to check the results, students will have to visit the official website of CBSE.

Follow the below mentioned steps to check your results:
- Visit the official website of CBSE.
- A link will appear on the screen: ‘NEET exam results 2016’.
- Click on the link.
- Fill the required details like roll number and date of birth to log in.
- Click on the submit tab or press enter.
- You can now view your results on the screen.
About 6 lakh candidates registered themselves for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) phase 1.
The exam was conducted on May 1 . According to a ruling released by the supreme court in the month of may, it was mandatory for all medical and dental college aspirants to appear for the exam.

The exam for NEET phase 1 was conducted just three days after this verdict by the Supreme court, resulting which thousands of students were not able to appear for the exam. NEET phase 2 was then conducted on July 24 for such candidates. Total number of applicants for NEET phase 2 was over 4 lakh out of which, about 1.5 lakh fresh applicants appeared for NEET phase 2.
