The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Fit India Mission have come together to launch live classes on nutrition, yoga, exercises, mediation, fitness, etc. The live fitness class will be available on social media websites such as Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook.
The live fitness sessions are downloadable and will be available anytime. The live fitness class will start from April 15th, 2020 at 9:30 am and the sessions will take place for a period of one month.
Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' informed that they had a discussion with the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Kiren Rijiju for partnership with CBSE to facilitate live sessions by experts to cover topics such as Yoga and Meditation, Basis Exercises, Nutrition and boosting immunity among others.
The main objective of CBSE behind these live sessions is to help children stay fit along with online classes. This will help them maintain an active and balanced lifestyle from the very beginning itself,
This will also help the students relieve stress and anxiety. Both students and parents are anxious about the future due to uncertainty. Exercise is a good way to release stress. Even exercising for 10 minutes increases mental alertness, improves blood circulation and boosts energy.
The uncertainty of the future is causing a lot of stress to students and initiatives like these will help them to be at ease.
