The CBSE Class 12 Computer Science examination is scheduled to be held on 28th March 2018. The students will have options to attempt questions on either C++ or Python language.
The Central Board of Secondary Education - CBSE will introduce Python language for computer science examination in class 12th board examination. The Python language exam will be introduced from the 2019 academic year.
As per the official notification of the board, questions on Python language will be optional in the exam. This is because some schools have chapters on the respective language in a 2017-19 academic year.
Students appearing in class 12th board examination (computer science exam) will have options to attempt questions on either Python or C++. The computer science exam (class 12th) will take place on 28th March 2019.
The CBSE will administrate the computer science question paper of class 12th examination. Students will only have to attempt one section i.e. either C++ or Python.

The CBSE Class 12th board exams will be held from 15th February to 3rd April 2019. The practical exams for class 12th will take place from 16th January. The exam will take place in the morning session, from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. The answer booklet will be distributed to students at 10 am and the question papers at 10.15 am.
