CBSE class 12 Economics re-exam will be conducted tomorrow for students who appeared for the exam in India. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will re-conduct Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Economics re-exams, which were cancelled due to paper leak . The new exam date for Class 12 Economics was announced by CBSE earlier this month. April 25, 2018.
It is important to note that candidates who appeared for the exam at international centres abroad will not have to appear for the exam again. Following the re-exam, the Class 12 Board results are also likely to be delayed. The new exam date is also clashing with some of the engineering entrance exams such as AP EAMCET and KEAM .
An official circular confirming the re-exam dates will be uploaded on the official website of CBSE. CBSE will take stringent steps to avoid paper leak for the re-exams. Already, students who took exams in these subjects expressed their disappointment over the CBSE’s decision to re-conduct the exams . If the board had taken enough measures earlier, there would have been no scope for conducting re-exam.

Many students have criticised CBSE’s policy stating that the national level board received complaints on the Class 10 maths paper leak a day before the exam. However, CBSE conducted the exam despite the rumours on the paper leak. Within 90 minutes after the completion of CBSE Class 10 maths exam, the board announced that students must sit for re-exam. A similar clarification was given for CBSE Class 12 economics exam.

However, the CBSE investigate the matter and decided that the class 10 Math paper leak did not affect the answer sheets of students. The board later announced that there will be no re-exam for class 10 maths paper.
