On May 26, 2018, after announcing CBSE Class 12 results , the Central Board of Secondary Education has started the helpline for students to deal with stress associated with post-results . This year, 83.01% of students cleared Class 12 exams.
Senior Public Relations Officer of CBSE, Mr. Rama Sharma revealed that the special counselling facility of CBSE would play a vital role in dealing with post-result anxiety. The counselling facility comprises 69 counsellors, special educators and principals who will assist callers on any issue pertaining to post-exam anxiety. The helpline facility will function from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM until June 09, 2018.

Out of the total number of counsellors, 49 are in India (including two special educators), while 20 counsellors/ experts are located in Singapore, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Nepal.
Students and parents can call the helpline to overcome psychological challenges associated with CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 results.

CBSE has also motivated the students to be positive. Students who failed in CBSE board exams must think that the exam results are not the ultimate decisive factor. The board also motivated the students not to indulge in any sort of criticism or comparison.
Earlier, CBSE disclosed that more boys relied on helpline to overcome exam stress . The board had received numerous calls from students and parents on various queries associated with exam stress.
This year, CBSE government schools also showed outstanding performance in CBSE Class 12 board exams 2018 .
