Not only this, but the CBSE English question paper also sparked controversy for supporting the regressive notions and promoting gender stereotypes. After the objections, CBSE has decided on December 13 to drop the comprehension passage in the English paper. Meanwhile, the students will be awarded full marks for the passage question. Amid all the errors raised, the students who appeared for CBSE Class 10 Odia exam demanded Justice.

Many students took the matter to Twitter expressing their thoughts and concern. One of the students tweeted that there were 12 wrong answers in the Odia paper answer key for which there were no corrections done. This shows the negligence of CBSE towards the Odia language and demonstrates the loss of students who chose Odia as their second language. The students also requested to consider the matter and asked for Justice. Another user tagged Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan and CBSE in her Tweet saying that the students who appeared for the Odia paper have scored very low marks due to the evaluation error. Most of these students have scored full marks in the other subjects and hence, it is requested to rectify the marks.
