The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the date for NEET-II exam. The board will be conducting phase two of the national level medical exam on July 24. Admissions to all medical and dental colleges will be based on NEET scores.
The last date to fill the online application for NEET-II was June 25.
Candidates have been asked to keep in touch with the NEET website, in order to stay attuned to the updates and follow the necessary instructions. Additional time will not be given to the candidates for any of the procedures. All the important announcements and details will be mentioned on the official website of NEET.
With the NEET-1 answer keys still on hold, students were confused whether they should apply for NEET-II or not. Several requests were made by academicians and parents to extend the registration dates. Despite the confusion among the students, CBSE did not extend the registration date.
The Supreme Court asked CBSE to conduct NEET-II exam so that students could get a chance to perform better as they had to appear for NEET-I in haste. However, applying for NEET-II would mean giving up the candidature for NEET-I exam. The Students appearing for NEET-II will have to lose their NEET-I score.
CBSE announced that the NEET-I and NEET-II OMR Sheet will be published once the NEET-II exam is conducted successfully.
