Here is a relief, at least for the schools under the Central Board of Secondary Education, as the schools would now be able to place their order of NCERT books online. What they have to do is to simply login to the CBSE website and place the order.
All the books will be available online before the commencement of the academic session of the year 2017. The Ministry of Human Resource and Development has been working on the strategy to ensure the smooth supply of the books to the schools, it is learnt.

It was also made clear to the schools that books published by the Council for Standard I to Standard XII are available fee cost on the NCERT website.
