The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the UGC NET 2018 complete results on August 21, 2018. The complete results include the marks of the candidates scored in Paper I and Paper II. The results link is activated on the official website. Over 8,59,498 candidates appeared for the exam and were eagerly waiting for the results. This year, 55,872 candidates cleared UGC NET examination. A total number of 3,929 candidates secured eligibility for JRF (Junior Research Fellow).
Those who've cleared the UGC NET will be eligible for a junior research fellowship or will be considered for the post of assistant professors.
How to Check Results of CBSE UGC NET 2018 Exam?
Now that the CBSE UGC NET 2018 results are out, the candidates can follow the steps given below to check the same.
- Open Google Search
- Enter the keywords ‘CBSE NET’
- The first link in the search results will direct you to the CBSE NET official website.
- Check the tab ‘Current Events’ on the homepage of CBSE NET.
- Under the current events section, click on Complete Result for UGC NET 2018.
- A new page will open.
- Enter the ‘Application Number’, ‘Roll Number’ and ‘Date of Birth’.
- Click on ‘Submit’
- The qualification status of the candidate and the aggregate percentage scored and individual marks scored in Paper I & II will be displayed.
- Take the printout of the results sheet
- Send an e-mail to CBSE if there are any discrepancies in the results.

The candidates who have qualified CBSE UGC NET 2018 will be eligible for the appointment of assistant professor/ lectureship or will be eligible for Junior Research Fellow (JRF). All the qualified candidates will receive CBSE UGC NET 2018 qualifying certificate.
