Although the schedule confirms the exact timings of all other counselling events, the CCMT seat allotment release time has not been mentioned in the official schedule. As per the previous timelines followed by CCMT, it can be expected that CCMT Round 1 2024 seat allotment will be published by 12 Noon. In 2023, the seat allotments for Rounds 1, 2, and 3 were released around 12 PM, 12 PM, and 11 AM respectively. A similar timeline is expected to be followed this year as well.

What After CCMT Round 1 Seat Allotment 2024?
Post the declaration of CCMT seat allotment 2024 round 1 results, the candidate will have to specify “willingness” to move to further rounds of counselling or not. There are three willingness options for CCMT counselling:
Freeze : It implies that the candidate is satisfied with the allocation and wishes to confirm the allotted seat. Such candidates will not be eligible for upcoming rounds.
Float : It implies that the candidate is not satisfied with the current allocation and wishes to be allotted a different institute and course in the next round. Such candidates are hence eligible for Round 2 participation.
Slide : It implies that the candidate is satisfied with the allotted institute but would prefer a different programme. Such candidates will be eligible for Round 2 but will only get a seat within the same institute.
To exercise any willingness option, the candidates must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee beforehand. It is Rs 30,000/- for General, EWS, and OBC categories while it is Rs 10,000/- for SC, ST, and PwD categories.
