The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is conducted every year and it is one of the most popular design entrance exams in India . It is used for shortlisting candidates for admission to the Master of Design (M.Des) programmes in the CEED participating colleges . CEED 2021 was successfully conducted on January 17, 2021, by IIT Bombay and the final answer key was released on January 31, 2021.

CEED 2021: Part A Detailed Exam Analysis
The Part A of CEED 2021 comprised three sections and candidates had to complete this part in one hour. According to the CEED 2021 exam analysis, the difficulty level of the paper was moderate. The three sections of CEED Part A included Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
The students reported that they took about 25 minutes to answer the numerical answer type questions and they were moderately difficult. Many students found the multiple choice questions relatively easy and the select questions were moderately difficult as well. As per the test-takers, time was a major constraint in completing CEED 2201 Part A.
CEED 2021: Part B Detailed Exam Analysis
In Part B of CEED 2021, there were 5 questions asked and candidates found the questions a bit confusing. Questions of this section were based on 2D graphics icon, character design, and problem identification on a toothbrush and mixer grinder. Each question in part B was to be answered on a separate page and some of the candidates found it difficult to understand. The Part B of CEED assesses the candidate's drawing, creativity, communication skills, and problem identification skills.
