Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) will hold single Common Entrance Test (CET) for PG admissions in Telangana state universities . The move will benefit students, as they are not required to apply for multiple entrance tests. So far, Osmania University and Kakatiya University have conducted CET for PG admissions in Telangana. The single CET will be conducted in CBE (Computer-Based Test) mode and the official notification for the same will be released on April 19, 2019.
Until last year, Osmania University CET (OU CET) score was accepted for PG admissions in OU, Telangana University, Potti Sreeramulu University, Mahatma Gandhi University, and Palamuru University. On the other hand, Kakatiya University conducted its own entrance test for PG admissions until last year. Kakatiya University refrained from accepting OU CET score for PG admissions last year due to the variation in the syllabus.
