CG PET 2020 for B.E admission and CG Pre-MCA Entrance Exam 2020 for MCA admission have been cancelled. Admissions for B.E and MCA in Chhattisgarh will be based on merit.
The government of Chhattisgarh has cancelled CG PET 2020 and CG Pre-MCA Entrance Exam 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The admission process for B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) and MCA will be based on merit. Students from other states aspiring to get admission in B.E. in any of the college located in Chhattisgarh must have a valid score in JEE Main . On the other hand, NIMCET score is mandatory for other state candidates aspiring for MCA admission in Chhattisgarh.
Chhattisgarh B.E and MCA Revised Admission Process 2020
Candidates aspiring for B.E. and MCA admission for the academic session 2020-21 must note that marks scored in qualifying exams shall be considered. For B.E, marks in Class 12 th will be taken into consideration for preparing merit list. For MCA, marks scored in Bachelor’s degree will be considered for the same. The government will directly conduct the counselling process for B.E and MCA admission.
Candidates who have already registered for CG PET and Pre-MCA entrance exam must note that his/ her application fee will be used for the counselling process. The dates for the counselling will be announced soon. The government will take all measures to complete the admission process for B.E and MCA by October.
So far, there is no clarity on CG PPT 2020 (Polytechnic) and B.Ed entrance exams. The official details with regard to these exams will be updated soon.
