The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) concluded the registration process for the admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs on June 25, 2018. Compared to the last year, the number of candidates who qualified JEE Advanced 2018 was less and hence have better chances to secure admission in the premier institutes this year. JoSAA has announced the first round seat allotment on June 27, 2018, at 10:00 AM.
Last year, at least five students contested for one seat in 23 IITs and ISM Dhanbad . This year, only three applicants are competing for one seat, which means that candidates have good chances to get admission in the IITs. JoSAA will conduct seven rounds of seat allocation process for filling the seats in the premier institutes. The seat matrix of IITs , NITs, IIITs and GFTIs can be checked below.
