Last Wednesday the Christ College of Engineering and Technology celebrated its annual day ‘CETAFEST 16’. The day was marked with many events such as dance, skit and mimicry being organized. Also the students who had topped the 2015-16 academic year were awarded with prizes and certificates.
In his presidential address the Managing Director S.R.S. Paul stated that Christ College has always stood out as far as academics was concerned and also set the stage for the students to showcase their talents.
Film actor Ma. Ka. Pa. Anand graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The mimicry artist Sethu expressed his happiness to see a college that excelled both in academics as well as extra-curricular activities. The other chief guest was actress Gayathri Raguraman who had a friendly interaction with the students.
The welcome address was delivered by Pradeep Devaneyan, Dean School of Mechanical and Building Sciences. The annual report was read out by Director-cum-principal A. Ravichandran whereas the felicitation address was delivered by L.J. Soundarajan Dean School of Management Studies.
