CLAT 2023: NLU gives a fresh update on the number of attempts for 2023-24 academic session

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the CLAT 2023 exam on December 18, 2022 . For the academic session 2023-24, the CLAT exam will be commenced only once. The exam will be held for admission to the five years integrated BA, LLB and LLM programs for the academic session 2022-23. The authority published a fresh update on the number of attempts for the 2023-24 academic session through a press release on October 31.

Here is what NLU Clarified about CLAt 2023

• For the academic year 2023-24, the CLAT exam will be held only once on December 18, 2022 . After that, no additional, second or any other CLAT exam will be conducted for the admissions for the academic year 2023-24
• The candidates, who are interested in seeking admission to the academic year 2023-24, should register for CLAT 2023 by November 13, 2022 . The candidates, who were unsuccessful in securing admissions to the preferred college through the CLAT 2022, conducted in June 2022, will be able to reappear for CLAT 2023. For the same, they should complete the fresh registration by the scheduled date
• The candidates, who will be appearing for the class XII exam in May 2023, are also eligible to appear for the CLAT 2023 exam
• After qualifying the CLAT 2023 exam, the candidates will be able to take admission to the 22 participating NLUs
• As per the notification, CLAT 2024 will also be conducted in December 2023 for the academic year 2024-25
