CLAT 2026 Expected Exam Date: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) is likely to conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2026) on the first Sunday of December 2025 i.e., on December 6, 2025. In previous years, the CLAT examination was consecutively held on the first Sunday of December. Hence, this year also, we can expect the same scenario over the past trends. Unless extraordinary circumstances occur then only the CLAT 2026 exam date will be changed. It is also likely that the NLUs will publish the complete CLAT 2026 schedule in July 2025 for the sake of candidates to prepare well for the CLAT 2026.

The CLAT 2026 is a national-level law entrance examination conducted for candidates to complete their law degrees from the prestigious 25NLUs. This examination mainly concentrates on and evaluates the comprehensive, logical, and legal reasoning skills of the candidates. Usually, the CLAT exam is a purely pen and paper-based test and consists of 5 sections, over 120 minutes. For the CLAT UG, the candidates must have passed the 10+2 class from any state board. Meanwhile, for CLAT PG must have an LLB degree then only eligible for registration of CLAT 2026. The online registration process for CLAT 2026 is likely to begin in the Third week of July 2025.
