It will be available on the official website on December 9, 2023 . After addressing the challenges raised by the candidates, the authority will release the CLAT final answer key on the said date. Post that there is no provision for raising objections against the final answer key. Using the CLAT final answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate their obtainable marks in the CLAT exam. So before releasing the CLAT result on December 10, 2023, the candidates will get a tentative idea about their rank.
CLAT Final Answer Key 2024: Steps to Calculate Marks
Before calculating the marks, it is necessary to have an idea about the CLAT marking scheme.
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correctly marked answer
- For every incorrect answer, candidates will get a deduction of 0.25 marks
- No marks will be deducted for the unattempted questions
Hence, total obtainable marks= [(Total number of correct answers)- (Total number of wrong answers- 0.25)]
Note, that the authority has not yet made any declaration about the official time of releasing the final answer key of CLAT 2024. However, it can be assumed that the final answer key will be released tentatively by 9 am on the said date. If it will not be released in the morning, the final answer key will be available on the official website tentatively in the evening, by 6.30 pm . The answer key pdf will be available in the pdf format. Hence, the candidates can download it and then calculate their score. Also, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the final answer key for future reference.
