The Coronavirus outbreak and national lockdown have adversely impacted the education system in India. Most of the entrance exams, which are scheduled to be conducted in April and May have been postponed. On the other hand, students who enrol in coaching for various entrance exams have also been affected due to the national lockdown. In order to combat the difficult situation, most of the coaching institutes across the country have opted for online classes for various upcoming national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main , NEET , CLAT etc. While some institutes are offering online classes through their official YouTube channels, some are offering the same through their official websites.’
Popular coaching institutes in India like Aakash, FIITJEE, and Jurist Academy have begun the online enrollment for coaching programmes. The fee for the coaching programme can be paid digitally through the respective official websites of the coaching institutes. All the enrolled students will get a Login ID and Password to access the digital learning resources such as online classes, e-books, e-notes etc.
Some institutes are even sending online class links to students on Whats App. Thus the current situation in India has forced coaching institutes to adopt online teaching methods. On the other hand, coaching for various government jobs is also being provided digitally.
In all, various educational institutes, coaching academies and premier institutes (like IITs) are taking enough measures to provide online classes so that the academic year should not be disturbed.
