COMEDK Post Seat Allotment Choices 2023Post COMEDK Seat Allotment 2023 Choices: With the release of the seat allotment on August 9, 2023 at 2 PM, the window to report online and confirm the post-allotment decision will be opened at comedk.org . It will be active until 4 PM on August 12, 2023. During this period, the candidates who have been allotted a seat must log in to their account and select any of the four choices/decisions as per their preference. These choices are elaborated further on this page. As applicable based on the choice made, the candidates must complete the fee payment within this duration and report at their allotted institute, if applicable. The dates for the Physical Reporting at the allotted college are from August 9, 2023 (2 PM) to August 14, 2023 (12 Noon).

Accept, Freeze and Upgrade after COMEDK Seat Allotment 2023
The choices and their implications on the seat allotment are elaborated in detail here:
Choice 1: Accept & Freeze
- If the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotment, then he/she can confirm their seat and take admission at the allotted college and branch.
- Such candidates will NOT be eligible for any of the next counselling rounds.
- It is mandatory for these candidates to pay the “Total Fee of the Allotted College” and report to their allotted institute within the given timeframe.
Choice 2: Accept & Upgrade
- If the candidate is partially satisfied with the seat allotment, then he/she can accept their seat but go for upgradation in the next round.
- Such candidates will not only be eligible for the next round but will also retain their current allocation as they do so. Hence, if no seat is allocated in the next round, then the seat allocation of the candidate will remain the same as it is in the current round.
- If a higher option, as per the candidate’s preference form, is allotted then the currently allotted seat will automatically be cancelled and allotted to the next eligible candidate within the same round.
- Once a higher upgradation is made, the candidate will have no claim to the earlier seat.
- It is mandatory for these candidates to pay the “Total Fee of the Allotted College” within the given timeframe.
Choice 3: Reject & Upgrade
- If the candidate is not satisfied at all with the current allocation and only wishes to go for upgradation, then he/she can reject the seat and go for the next counselling round.
- Unlike in Accept & Upgrade option, the candidate will not retain the current allocation in the next round. Hence, if no seat is allocated in the next round, then the seat allocation of the candidate will remain blank.
- It is mandatory for these candidates to pay the “Total Fee of the College you are Allotted and are Rejecting” within the given timeframe.
Choice 4: Reject & Withdraw
- If the candidate is not satisfied at all with the current allocation and does not wish to go for upgradation, then he/she can reject the seat and withdraw from the counselling.
- Such candidates will NOT be eligible for any of the next counselling rounds and will not have any claim to the allotted seat.
- These candidates need not require to pay any fees.
