Many changes have been introduced in the CAT 2016 application process for the convenience of CAT applicants. One of them is that the IIMs have allowed candidates to rectify their application forms to avoid rejection of application form. Candidates will be allowed to correct important details such as the percentage of marks scored, work experience, etc.

NOTE: The correction window was opened on October 1, 2016 and will close on October 5, 2016.
Only those candidates who have filled the complete application form and paid the fee will be allowed to edit CAT 2016 application form. Students who had just registered or those who had failed to pay the application fee won’t be allowed to make corrections in their application process.
Steps to rectify mistakes in CAT 2016 Application Forms:
- Use your login credentials provided at the time of registration to log in the portal
- Look for the option ‘Edit Application’ available on the top right-hand corner of the webpage and click on it
- You can then edit the marks or percentage entered in the application form, years of experience mentioned in the form and the IIM programmes selected in the application form
- After editing the details, crosscheck the form and click the ‘Save’ button
