Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has released the Round 1 seat allotment result for CSAB special round counselling 2020 on November 21, 2020. All the candidates who have registered and filled choices for the Round 1 are eligible for the seat allotment for admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The candidates must note that seat allotment result will be processed only as per the vacant seats available in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs . CSAB 2020 Special Round 1 Seat Allotment Fee
The Round 1 seat acceptance for CSAB 2020 special counselling can be checked below –
Fee for Candidates who secured a Seat for the First Time in CSAB (and not in JoSAA): Rs. 38,000 for General/ EWS/ OBC NCL and Rs. 18,000 for SC/ ST/ PwD.
Candidates who were allocated a seat in JoSAA counselling 2020 and willing to accept CSAB Round 1 seat allotment need to pay any seat acceptance fee.
Freeze, Float & Slide Option after CSAB Round 1 Seat Allotment
After checking the Round 1 seat allotment of CSAB special round, the candidates will have three options to choose such as Freeze, Slide and Float.
Freeze – Accept the Seat Allotment and Exit from Counselling
Slide – Opt for Round 2 and Wait for Better Course Allotment within the Allotted Institute (Already allocated seat in Round 1 will not be cancelled unless the candidate gets a better allotment in Round 2).
Float – Opt for Round 2 and wait for better allotment Institute (Already allocated a seat in Round 1 will not be cancelled unless the candidate gets a better allotment in Round 2).
