CSIR NET Life Sciences Group-2 Examination was conducted on February 17, 2022, by the National Testing Agency. The examination was scheduled in the second shift and candidates wrote with any hiccups. The Life Sciences Group examination started at 3:00 PM and ended at 6:00 PM.
Life Sciences Group-2 question paper of CSIR UGC NET did have three sections. Section-A consisted of questions related to general aptitude. Both remaining sections of the paper namely Section-B and Section- C covered the questions from the main subject. The total number of questions in CSIR UGC NET Life Sciences Group-2 was 145 questions, out of which test takers should answer only 75 questions. There was a choice for every section. Section- A comprised twenty questions from which examination takers were supposed to answer fifteen questions. Section- B had fifty questions and Section C had seventy-five questions. As per the internal choice provided by NTA, examination takers were allowed to answer thirty-five questions from Section-B and twenty-five questions from the last section of the question paper. The marking scheme for Life Sciences Paper was a bit different for A and B to C-section.
