CBSE will begin the CTET 2021 exam on December 16 in Computer-Based format. Here are the important instructions that a candidate must follow on the exam day.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test , which is known as CTET is conducted by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) every year twice.  For the year, 2021, the CTET exam will commence on the 16 of December 2021 and it will end up by the 13 th of January 2022. The mode of the exam is online. The duration of the exam is two and a half hours. CTET examination consists of two papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Important Instructions to be Followed on CTET 2021 Exam Day

Here are the important instructions to be followed on CTET 2021 exam day -

  • The candidates should download admit card and the Self-Declaration and must follow the guidelines mention in them.
  • The aspirants must reach and report at the examination centre before 30 minutes of the reporting time mentioned in the admit card. In case of late arrival, candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
  • Every student must bring one`s own  blue or black pen to write his/her details
  • The aspirants will not be allowed without proper Id proof, hence carry all valid and original Id proofs.
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of the exam and should make sure if they have signed in the attendance sheet.
  • Students must follow all the instructions given in the information bulletin.
  • The details, which are printed on Admit card, are submitted by the candidate. The board has not verified the eligibility criteria of the candidate as well as the basic information provided by the candidate.  They are solely responsible for the candidate in case of the candidate is placed elsewhere after the exam.
  • The candidates are suggested and advised to visit their allotted examination centre one day before the exam, in order to get an idea about the distance, duration of travel, and mode of transport.
  • If the student who is appearing for the exam is a diabetic, he/she can carry some eatables to the examination hall. Those eatables are to be kept with invigilators. The invigilator on-demand gives to the student.
  • It is the personal obligation of the candidate to check the official website of CTET Regularly.

Things Permitted to be Carried on CTET 2021 Exam Day

The candidates are required to carry the following things on the exam day -

  • Printout of Admit card
  • One Photo Id Proof (PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License or Voter ID)
  • Good quality Ball Point pen either blue or black
  • Sanitiser bottle, which is very transparent and of 50 ml. only
  • Face Mask
  • Water Bottle 500 ml only
