CTET Dec 2024 OMR Sheet Instructions:
CTET 2024 exam will be conducted offline on 14 December 2024. The questions should be filled out correctly in the OMR sheet that the candidates will receive. The sealed Test Booklet which houses the CTET OMR sheet will be provided. As the OMR sheet is unique and the same will be scanned with an optical scanner, so it is important for students to learn more about the OMR sheet before appearing for the exam.
It is to note that the candidates are not allowed to break or tear or open the seal unless it is instructed by the invigilator. Therefore, breaking the seal before the announcement will be a criminal offence. CTET Dec 2024 OMR Sheet Instructions
Before you sit for the CTET December 14 exam, it is important that you familiarise yourself with the particular instructions for filling the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet. If you follow these guidelines, your answers will be correctly recorded and you will be sure not to be penalized from improper marking in the OMR sheet.
- The OMR Sheet will be present inside the Test Booklet that the candidates will get to see. After the announcement by the invigilator the seal will be broken/ opened and OMR Sheet will be taken out from the Test Booklet and given to the candidates. Avoid breaking/ opening the seal before the announcement.
- The OMR sheet will include code like A, B, C or D which will be the same as printed in the Test Booklet.
- A special type of OMR Sheet will be used which will be scanned on Optical Scanner. Students should not fold the OMR Sheet or put stray marks on the OMR Sheet and write their Roll No. only in the given space in the OMR sheet.
- Side 1: Candidates are required to compactly and appropriately fill in the following columns of CTET OMR Sheet. Candidates must use only their black / blue ballpoint pens to fill out the spaces. Remember that if you use a pencil on an OMR sheet, the paper is rejected.
- Roll number
- Centre
- Name of the candidates
- Father’s name
- Centre number
- Name of the exam
- Subject offered for Paper II
- Side 2: Using your Ballpoint Pen, Fill this column in the OMR Sheet. In addition, candidates cannot use pencils to fill this section. Check the list of the following columns here:
- Roll Number
- Main Test Booklet Number
- Language Supplement Booklet Number
- Language Supplement Booklet Code
- Subject offered for Paper-ll
- Language in which you have attempted the questions
- Candidate’s Signature
- Before you answer, write your Question Paper Booklet Number in the space provided and mark appropriate circles in the OMR Answer Sheet.
- Write your sign on the OMR Answer Sheet in the given space and make the Invigilator also sign in the given space
- The OMR Answer sheets will be machine graded and processed by the means of Computers and Scanners. Students will exclusively be solely responsible for the invalidation of OMR Answer Sheets, in case of incomplete or incorrect filling of OMR Answer Sheet
- Use a Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen to darken the circles. Any other colors are not allowed for pens. Do not use the Pencil or Ink/ Gel pen
- Never write or mark outside the limits of the demarcated areas on this OMR Answer Sheet, otherwise it may face invalidation. Do not write about irrelevant matters, do not scribble on this sheet. Do not fold, tear, wrinkle or staple this sheet
- While answering, you select the BEST alternative answer from the 4 choices below the question and blacken it in the appropriate circle in the OMR answer sheet. Do not shade more than one circle for a question
- Change of answer after darkening one circle will also result in nullification of the same; and the candidates should fully satisfy themselves about the accuracy of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle
- Using eraser or white fluid on the OMR Answer Sheet is not permitted due to the fact that OMR Answer Sheets are machine graded
- The OMR Answer Sheet to be returned before leaving the examination hall by each student. If this is not done, they will be responsible for criminal action and rejection of their candidature
