CUCET 2022 syllabus will be based on class 11th and class 12th NCERT Syllabus. Candidates preparing for the entrance test must go through the NCERT books in order to pass the exam with flying colours. According to the Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC), M. Jagadesh Kumar, the questions in CUET will be extracted from the concepts and topics that students read in class 11th & class 12th.
CUET 2022 will comprise Section 1A - General test, Section 1B - Domain-specific subjects. Section 1A of CUET will be in a total of 13 languages and aspirants can choose any language of their choice. This section is mandatory to attempt. The language options for Section 1A are English, Assamese, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu.
Section 1B of CUET is completely optional and is for those candidates who want to choose another language besides the ones that are part of Section 1A. A few of the languages on offer are Arabic, French, German among others. CUCET 2022 will be conducted in 2 stages. In the first shift, aspirants will be able to write the exam in one language, general test and two domain-specific papers. In the second shift, candidates can write Section 1B and the remaining 4 domain-specific subjects. The detailed exam pattern for CUCET 2022 is expected to be released in 1st week of April.

A total of 45 Central Universities that are funded by the UGC accept the CUCET 2022 scores. In the words of the chairman of UGC, “the CUET syllabus will be mirrored with the Class 11th & Class 12th syllabus of NCERT.” The public, private and deemed to be universities are also free to use the scores of CUET for UG admissions.
